RP?

I am interested because Pepe Sabater (in cc) of my group needs to run a
software for analysing LOFAR data (www.*lofar*.org). We installed this
software in our cluster at IAA, but it is not working 100%, since some
parts have problems with the libraries and compilers of our cluster. The
ideal solution is a cloud environment, where we can custom the VM for our
needs (OS version, libraries and compilers). So, I see the ibergrid cloud
infra, as a solution but I am not sure how it works, so we want to have
more information to check if it is a solution or not. If it is a solution
we will want to know if we are allowed to use it , and in this case how
difficult and how long will take to migrate the LOFAR software to this
infra. I think, It could be a very good opportunity since it would be the
first time this software is executed in a cloud environment, so we could
give a solution for the LOFAR community

Indeed this is a problem that I usually find in my group: software with
very specific needs and very difficult to install. GIPSY, which is the
software that I installed in Ibergrid with the help of Enol and Gonçalo has
the same problem, but in this case, I run GIPSY in Grid to test the
performance of only one of its functionalities, but I am sure that if an
expert user tries to use all the functionalities of GIPSY he/she will found
some error due to the environment. So this is my second motivation: learn
how we can use the cloud infrastructure to give a solution in these cases
(software with a lot of dependencies and difficult to install).

Yesterday, I requested an account in this web, I received a confirmation
email, but after confirming the request I didn't receive any answer and I
can not login.
